Apparently there's going to be a charity party this Saturday as Hangman approaches its fate. Anyone think they'll go?

If you buy and consume enough alcohol that you can't remember do they actually tell you what the hell is going on with the hangman?

Just in case this is meant to be a dig at me based on what Gary seemed to be telling people last week; I was not too drunk to remember what was said to me. Gary told me that he was staying on long enough to do a hand over to the new owners, he said nothing at all to make me doubt his straight forward words of 'Next Monday will be the last Games night at the Hangman' which he had emailed me the day before.

Why would this be a dig at you? Have you tried to cover up what's going on with the hangman?

Not at all, Gary seemed to be trying to infer last week that I had been lying to people whereas he has been messing about the people who use the Hangman as a venue and it really REALLY annoyed me!!

Crikey. That sounds horrible. I was hoping to string this out until it turned into werewolf accusations. Ah well. Whoever said what, I think I'll steer clear of the hangman for a bit now.

True, but the Hangman's two strongest qualities are it's friendly atmosphere and the fact we used it as a venue.  Losing (or reducing) those two qualities makes other places seem more attractive.
