Hi
Recently picked up a deck of the Legend of the Five Rings card game (mostly to show players in the rpg what stuff looks like) and I was wondering if any of the group were up for a game.

I used to play some L5R CCG a while back. I bought a ton of Diamond block cards - which must have been at least 6+ years ago. I had a friend in Chester at the time who was keen on it. Although I like the theme and card artwork, I found it to be one of my least favourite CCG to play. Mainly due to it hurting my brain as you have to keep track of oppositions
strength verses your own and work out odds of successful attack or get screwed in counter-attack. Which might not sound much different to magic but as the cards tend to build up on the table I found it a nightmare to keep track of. Our games often ended in Mexican standoff
(probably because we weren't very good!). But many folks rated the game very highly and it had a fanatical following at the time, although I don't know what state of play is with it now.

Saying all that I would be up for playing it again, but don't know how compatible/balanced my older cards would be with your deck. I assume you just have one deck?

Steve.
