http://roughfromthehammer.com/parts.html

I mentioned this last night.  Anyone interested in any bits of armour, at the moment we are nearly all heavies but we are lacking in heavy armour.  These are the hard buts formed, we will still need to grind and polish and assemble which I have all of the kit for.

I have asked for a shipping quote to see just how bad that will be.

I got a quote for $50 worth of stuff and it was $50 for shipping.  Its not worth doing this unless we do it as a bulk order.

Armour Parts needed

Head
Can either be a mail coif or a helmet.  Mail needs to be bought(ebay) or made(start now). Helmet I can help you with but will require you to do some of the work or pay me.  You would need to buy helmet halfs for me to help you make a helmet.

Body
Coat of plates is what we all use, can be made from steel, aluminum or plastic.  Outer material can be leather (Hot and heavy but will last ages) or canvas.  I can price out materials if you want me to again you would have to be here to make or pay me to do it.

http://www.aemma.org/misc/coatOfPlates.htm

You would need to source the outer material, plates and rivets.  I can advise on what you need, but this is not from this order

Arms
Consist of shoulders, elbows and forearms.  Shoulders make it look much better and can be bought from rough from the hamer, they will still need assembly.  Elbows will join the whole lot together and make it comfier but you can just go with forearms if you want.

http://www.armourarchive.org/patterns/splinted_arms_dwarlock/

You would need leather and metal for the splints, I have metal but not the leather as what I have is not stiff enougth.  I am hoping to buy some extra stiff stuff at the next event so you may be able to buy some of me.

Legs
greaves can be worn by themselves but dont work paricularly well on some people.

http://spiers-saddlery.stores.yahoo.net/spstle.html

I am buidling something like the above.

My shopping list is going to be:
1 or 2 helmet halfs set
Elbows
Shoulders
Knees

I a intending to be going in full plate.

Total came to £105, most of that was my parts though.  Will work out the split for those that ordered stuff later.
