Well, I got nowhere near as much chance as I thought I would, but that was probably due to cramming 24 hours of role-playing into a 52-hour period and then having to leave early. Ho hum!

Just out of interest, what happened with the burnt down chalet? You mentioned one on the journey up but there was no follow up when you arrived. Were you moved to a different one?

I was in Ian's car when Matt G got a text from Matt P (I think) saying that one of our lodges had burnt down. At first we thought it was a wind-up, but soon established it wasn't!

I believe the first car-load of people came up the site access road, saw the burnt-out husk of lodge, surrounded in orange tape & netting, joked that that was one of ours, then realised it actually was.

We ended up in a lodge that had been kept spare to cover emergencies; the only problem was that instead of our lodges being next to each other, they were 100-200 metres apart across some very soggy grass. Although ours was a bit nearer the main building. Cool
