Are they normal machines with leather needles or actual leather sewing machines? It makes a big difference.
I would be up for kit making, I need to adjust some chain and do some repairs to kit, mostly leather work. Probably cant do the metal work I need to do at yours as its a bit loud and dirty _________________ No good deed goes unpunished
its normal machines with leather needles but theyre good an strong you can do metal working here cos i have the shed set up for it im looking into getting a mig welder soon too so mite not need to solder _________________ Evil shouldnt look this good

How easy is it to make your own chainmail?
I have bought 1000 X 6mm Stainless steel rings to have a play with to see how easy it would be to do the 4 in 1 pattern, having someone show me who has done this before would be a great help.
i have also looked at sourcing wire and making my own rings first but no suppliers seem readily available in the UK. Any ideas on this would also be appreciated.
