And what would that be? Why a scroll of "Abundant Ammunition" (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/a/abundant-ammunition) and a friendly caster. The spell allows any nonmagical ammunition to be replenished from a given container every round. Nonmagical ammunition includes alchemical cartridges. As long as the pouch upon which the spell is cast includes a number of cartridges equal to the number of attacks the gunslinger can make per round, the gunslinger can fire at will. This equates to substantial cost savings, particularly if the gunslinger can make multiple attacks:
With Gunsmithing, an alchemical cartridge costs 6GP.
A scroll of "Abundant Ammunition" costs 25GP and last for 1 minute.
Thus, even if the gunslinger can only make one attack per round, the scroll still results in net savings of 35GP over the minute the spell is active, assuming the gunslinger shoots every round (and why would they do anything else?): (6GP/cartridge*10 cartridges=60GP-25GP for cost of scroll)
If the gunslinger can make two attacks per round, maximum net savings increases to 95GP (120GP for 20 cartridges-25GP for cost of scroll)
Now try with a blunderbuss and dragon's breath cartridges...
Mwahahaha, I'm glad you're on our side Dan =P I fear the day you're on the other side of the table from us and we have to face an elite team of SAS Bugbears (just a random monster plucked out of the air by way of example, I'm sure you already know which critter would be best to put together a TPK-worthy encounter from...) optimised to kick our arses!

If you can afford the upfront cost, a wand would be even better of course. Costing the equivalent of 15gp/casting and also as a side bonus, does not provoke the attacks of opportunity that spells do. _________________ The Master can blow me, Monkey-Suit. Bloodrayne 2

I'm being (mostly) flippant about the cost of ammo. Varam gets levelled up with GM credit most of the time, so ends up spending less on consumables than most other PFS PCs.
My concerns with abundant ammunition are:
- It takes up an action at the start of combat; there may be better buffs.
- How often do fights last at least ten rounds?
