The 'other thread' has reminded me of the other tabletop fantasy gaming clubs in the area; I thought it might be worthwhile to list them. I don't consider them competition per se, as they tend to focus on wargaming and/or run on different days of the week.

RGMB - Chester (Stanley Palace), Tuesday, Wargames and MTG

Chester University Roleplay & Games Society - Chester (university campus), term-time only, Monday (console games) and Thursday (RPGs)

Deeside Defenders - Broughton, Thursday and every other Sunday, Wargames, board games, and some RPGs

Flintshire Fanatics - Hawarden, Wednesday, Wargames

Liverpool Wargames Association - Thursday (wargames), Friday (RPGs), and Sunday (wargames and RPGs)

Any others I'm missing?

Deeside Defenders was where I got back into rpg. And last time I went they were having a game of 3.5 I think. Not guaranteed rpgers but there are people that like a game or two.

Actually, students only isn't correct. The majority are students but a lot of the regular GMs aren't, they're fine with non-students.

Only downside is it only runs while uni is on, so I don't think it's running right now. Might be wrong on that though.
