I'm aiming to run the next part of the 'First Steps' trilogy over the next two weeks.

I assume that the PCs will be the two that ran errands around Absalom (and enjoyed the Jestercap festivities), along with Ryan's newly created character, and one of Mike's two characters (either the druid or a new one).

Things to sort out at the start:

- Nyzrem's filth fever
- Nyzrem's chronicle sheets

In terms of money and equipment, there is the opportunity to spend your newly-acquired wealth at the start of the scenario, but it's a good idea to have a think about it beforehand.

I'll be there, looking forward to it. I should be with my summoner as that's the one created to run with this group.

OK. If people are going to be doing summoning regularly, try and make sure you have statblocks prepared in advance whenever possible.

I'm checking on the message boards but cant see the answer.

Can I qualify for feats such as Eldritch Claws (APG) as a Synthesist (UM) as I can maintain my merged form (and therefore natural attacks) for more than 24 hours?

Er, maybe? This suggests not, but I'm not sure.

Either way, it won't be for a while, as it needs BAB +6.

Cheers, good thing I qualified for my other feats via my natural stat line.

Was a rules lawyery thing, if you have a stat increase for 24 hours you qualify for feats with it (belts of str, dex, int...), but due to 3.5 being broken by said rules my instict would be to say no from day dot.

The only way I would have said it worked, is that you lost the ability to use it when you lost the stat that gave it to you (ie no natural attack no magic / silver upgrade, no str 13+ no power attack), but again that kinda comes around and bites you in the arse with stat damage stuff.

I'll be at the club early tonight (6ish) so I'll have time to sort out any PFS admin matters, answer any questions (if I know the answers), etc.

I should be getting some dinner with my fella in 'Spoons this evening, so I'll hopefully be available from around 6 as well. See you all soon.

One error I made last session: the well should not have radiated magic at all, not even at the bottom.

Although the howling and compulsion were neutralised by the end of the encounter, there was still a very faint sound coming from the well. Although this will have got even quieter with the removal of the body to another part of the room, it is still present.
