Hello All,
I have made this sheet (previewed at 50% size) to help me remember the rules for play.
It is designed to have the sequence of play on the sheet so it tells the player how to play just by looking at it. It also helps organise the play area (esp. when starting).
What do people think? Have I missed anything out or got any of the terminology wrong?
Just a few of things I noted:
-Instants and Flash cards aren't normally 'summoned' they are spells that are cast and can be played at almost any time.
-Haste is the ability that negates summoning sickness and allows creatures to attack the turn they are summoned.
-Perhaps something to remind new players that sorceries can only be played, and equipment can only be equipped, in their own turn.
-It's maybe important to remind new players that they discard any excess cards in their hand at the end of their turn.
-The first land that features an arrow suggesting it is being tapped could be confusing given the text inside it doesn't follow this idea. Perhaps, 'this cards sideways position signifies it has been tapped'
-Land is also technically 'in play' as well; your current presentation *could* lead to confusion when trying to understand certain cards. Eg, +1/+1 for each forest in play. (very finnickety point i'll admit)
-Finally I think the golden rule should get a mention: "Whenever a card's text directly contradicts the rules, the card takes precedence."
Hope this is constructive and helpful. I really love the design.
