The rulebook for the expansion Tomb: Cryptmaster is available
online, and completely covers all the base rules, as well as the new ones.

It's slightly cleaned up, based on faq and feedback etc, worth a download.

One new change is a party is limited to a total of 10 inn cards, both in hand/in play, with the exception that each fighter may hold 1 item that does not count towards the 10. Think I might adopt this ruling.

Would like to try playing with the chosen placement of tomb cards as per the rules, if you can put a couple of easy to grab treasures out, it gives you reason to hit the dungeon in turn 1, as opposed to the current routine of everyone spending 5-6 turns in the inn,

For random card placement I'm thinking setting a party limit of number of cards in the crypt with the least number of cards remaining +1

So a party is limited to 2 members until all the 1's are empty, then
limited to 3 members until all the 2's are empty etc.

There is a nice rule in the expansion set to make the tombs more challenging.

"If any monsters have magic dice, each
such monster draws and attaches one spell, in addition to any dictated by the
card’s or crypt’s text. Likewise, if any monsters have holiness dice, each such
monster draws and attaches one prayer, in addition to any dictated by the card’s or crypt’s text."

Given that the last bunch of raids only ran into difficulty because of player interference, or a nasty collection of cards.  I would propose this rule for next time.

Cryptmaster is now in my possession  Cool .

28th seems like a reasonable date for a first outing (as Metagia suggested), as there's probably not going to be enough for the Keep on the Shadowfell.

Looks a lot more deadly than Tomb.

E.g. The Angel of Despair:

And that not even an Overlord  Shocked .
