People who want to/can/are driving, can you update with car type so we can work out how much luggage transport we have as well.

We have 9 people to take, that makes 3 car with 3 in each to be fair on fuel costs.

Ian - Focus                                Taking - Ian
Josh - Clio (Not a Girls Car Very Happy )     Taking - Josh
Shell - Skoda Felicia (estate)      Taking - Shell, Mat
Mat lewis (Paz) - Avensis            Taking - Matt

Anyone Else?

Ian

It's a mark 3 clio ok, it's not a girls car, I find that offensive and I feel that it should be moderated.

My only real complaint about it is the horn sounds pathetic.

People who are going from our locality: (in the order that the name length I have typed increases down the list, I was bored ok?)
Ian
Josh
Tess
Shell
Aaron
Matt Lewis (Paz)
Matt Rigby (Wolves)
Matt Geraghty (Hairy)
Matt Palmer (and Shell/New)

Key:
Blue: People who I know have a car but have not made it clear to me that they would be far more comfortable to drive rather than be a passenger almost to the point of insistance (that would be me, but I got the impression Shell felt this way also)  Very Happy
Green: Those who have a car and feel the way described above
Red: People who know who they are travelling with. (I think Matt Palmer is a given please correct if wrong.)

I will check regularly so that this issue can be solved and colour coded in an up to date manner  Cool

Clio is a girls car according to Rebecca who I work with. It is a well known fact that all girls cars have pathetic horns and Mens cars have good horns, look at the Dukes of Hazard. Razz  We could take a vote monday if you wish? Smile

I would prefer to drive as well. We need to think about size as well, I am planning on bringing all my board games and I suspect Aaron is as well. Mine is also better on fuel then most.

Ian

Well Josh and Ian can Vulcan death fight over me as a passenger. I will only be taking 1 or two boardgames plus one or two more to sell at the bring and buy. No more than that me thinks. I don't know how much I will recgonise close up but we will see. Also who has sat nav? I would like to get there see lol.

Chalet keys- Who's name are they under. How will picking them up work?

Keys are under my name so whover goes with me get to get in first Wink

Or

Whoever turns up first goes to desk and say "hi Im Ian Murphy" and takes keys back to the lodges with them, we all just go straight to the lodges after that. I think there was a £5 deposit for each key last time. Obviously Shelly and Tess cant do this, well they could but that would be a bit weird.

I will print off the confirmation email so there is one in every car.

I can borrow a Sat Nav if required and am possibly getting one off Farther Christmas. I have also done the run before(as you know) and found it fine without a sat nav, it was that shop we couldnt find.

Ian

Have sat nav and have driven to Bournemouth before (it will be interesting to see where we are in relation to where I was).

Can also pose as Ian if needed, altho I may need a body suit and not have a shave until we go Razz

I don't mind who goes in which car. I think the best way to do it is as follows: If you don't want to be with a particular person or would prefer to be with someone pm Ian and tell him and let Ian sort out who is in which car. Unless everyone else says they dont care either and then its up for open discussion i guess  Confused

Although i will say that having Paz Matt and myself in the same car will likely result in rocks falling  Cool
