Welcome to Chester Games Club!

We have a weekly gaming club in Chester, England. It takes place every Monday night, approx. 18:30-23:00, at the Forest House, Love Street, Chester CH1 1QY (map here). The club is ten minutes' walk from Chester Railway Station, and there is parking nearby on Forest St, Bath St, Union St and Foregate St. After entering the pub, turn left and go down the stairs to find us. New members can come along free for the first week; after that there is a £1 weekly charge. There is a bar serving drinks and food, but other food and drink is not allowed inside (apart from the occasional bag of sweets). Attendance ranges between 25 and 35 people, averaging around 30.

We play the following types of games:

• RPGs, including:
  • Dungeons & Dragons 3.5E (Curse of the Crimson Throne)
  • Dungeons & Dragons 4E
  • Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay
  
  
• Board games, including:
  • German-style games (e.g. Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico)
  • Longer games (e.g. Arkham Horror, Descent)
  
  
• Card games, including:
  • CCGs (e.g. Magic: the Gathering)
  • Non-CCGs (e.g. the Sherlock Holmes card game, Werewolves of Millers Hollow)

Whatever type of game you're interested in, there should be something suitable for you to play every week. New gamers are welcome; feel free to post on the forum to let us know you're coming or to ask for more information.
