This thread is to announce the Sunday there will be a Magic: the Gathering vintage pauper constructed tournament from 9:00AM to 1:30PM
Pauper Constructed format:
Minimum deck size is 60 cards (including lands).  The restricted/ban list will include the standard vintage list.  A sideboard of up to 15 cards is allowed.
To determine if a card is common or uncommon, please check the Gatherer on the magic website.  Commonality will be by whether the card has ever been common (i.e counterspell has been both an uncommon and a common card, it is legal under  this system).  If you only have the uncommon version, that is acceptable as a proxy for the common.  Anyone found to have an illegal card (after being checked) will lose that game, but then be free to remove and/or replace the card from the sideboard r the following game.
There will be 4 rounds of best of three, each lasting 3 rounds.   2 points for a win over best of three, 1 point for a draw/undetermined result.  The winner will receive 3 booster packs and general admiration.  Second place will receive 2 and warm applase. 3rd will receive 1 and seething jealousy.
Entrance to this will be £1 (to cover prizes).  People who enter should preferably submit their decklists to me (via facebook, email, forum etc) to speed up the start of the game.  There may be random deck checks during the tournament also, so keep things honest guys.
