My Works christmas do is that day but at 3.30 (poets day!) so I should be able to make the 10th as I don't believe my colleagues are the type to start that early and go on until late. Not 100% yet though.

Right, so for lack of any other guidance I vote for meeting up at The Boot Inn around 8 o'clock... are people happy with that?

Then probably on to the hangman later on, but we can decide the full plan over a beer at the boot.

Does anyone not know where the boot is?

We don't know where 'the Boot' is being new to Chester. Could someone post directions please? If we are late (working until 7) will you still be at the Hangman from 9 as previously stated on the forum?

By the way, its Redeemer at central station in Wrexham tonight so if enough drivers feel like not drinking we could make a move in that direction later on if Chester is quiet.
