2011 Conventions I'm thinking aboutThese are the conventions I'm considering attending this year:
Con-Quest - Derby - 30 April
UK Games Expo - Birmingham - 3-5 June
Paizocon UK - Birmingham - 16-17 July (TBC)
Anyone interested in any of these?

I would, but it's board games only, isn't it?

Oxcon 2011I will most likely be going to OxCon (in 2 weeks), which is in Oxford. It doesn't include any accommodation, but if you can sort yourself out some I can give you a lift. I will probably be going Friday night and back late Sunday evening.

Too long, too far away, too pretentious.
(Joking about the last bit)

Re: 2011 Conventions I'm thinking about
These are the ones now looking most likely for me.
Is anyone interested in attending the latter, and potentially sharing transport/accommodation costs?

Bolton Bored game dayI would definately be up for this, Bolton is where I'm from and it would be interesting to see what they're doing up there.

Looks like Bolton is definately on, after narrowly missing a pre-season american football match, I'll start a seperate thread for recruiting...

I'm going to this (it's cheap and local for family, so something of a no-brainer); I guess it's on my own...

Are you going for the day and travelling back?

It now looks like that's the case, yes. Are you interested? If so, I'd like to book tickets in advance (£6 for the whole con) to avoid the need to queue to pay on the day.
It's 10-7; I'd want to get there a bit early (to allow for parking, sign-up, etc.) but would aim to leave fairly promptly.

So, Matt R, Jamie & I went to Con-Quest. Here's a photo of me, clearly having a good time:
(from here)
UK Games Expo clashes with a Take That concert that my wife is attending, so my next con will be Paizocon UK in Birmingham on 16-17 July. I've booked my ticket already (as it's over 75% full) but I have room in my car if anyone else is interested in a Pathfinder-focused con. Could even look at splitting accommodation costs.

Oooh an expo. You may officially log my interest-level as 'raised-eyebrow'.

So, PaizoCon UK was superb; I must write/tell more about it later.
However, I'm currently looking at the logistics of both Heather and me attending Derby Day Con (20 Aug) for some Pathfindery goodness. It's unlikely that we'll have any spare seats in the car, but I thought I'd make people aware.
