'The Chester Games Club AGM 2011' .


(Look, I know its a bit dull, but its stuff that effects everyone and its only once a year).


List of stuff to be discussed/decided:

Age Policy: Need to decide whether the minimum age for the club is 16 or 18, and if any action needs to be taken as a result if this.

Discussion followed by vote.


Close of Nominations: Final chance to nominate yourself for the 2011 elections.

Some seconding needed for posts. Anyone else is welcome to put themselves forward.


Update of Kitty status:  Update on current amount in treasury, possibly with a review on subscription levels.

Relevant to next items.


Forum hosting: Complaints recently that the current forum is blocked by ad-blocking software.  Considering the options of paying for no-ads.

Also considering possibility of moving the forums, and whether to pay for a database export for that, or start from scratch.  Forum discussion here


For ease of voting I suggest splitting this into two parts:

A. The club pays for no-ads or not. Put up with ads (and possible security issues) or pay £36.50 to not have them for 12 months or the 6 month option).

B. If the Webmaster (with consultation) decides to move the Forum in the future, to export the database or not. Cost: £64.95 to export database in the event of a move or start from scratch (all data lost).


Emergency fund level:  Review on the status of the mimimum 'safety fund' for the club.

Vote on whether it should be £50 or £100 or other agreed amount. Could be dependent on the previous two decisions.
