Other conventions
Chance for people to speak briefly about other conventions taking place in 2012 that people might be interested in.

Minimising meetings is the best plan, I vote we don't talk about con's as that could take a lot of time, reading about cons on the forum is a better outlet.

Maybe a brief encouragement for people who don't use the forum to sign up, with con's as an example of things you might be missing.

A brief comment promoting the forum and stating that cons will be advertised there sounds better than a full blown discussion about cons to me.
