Bank Holiday gaming (May 4th)

Just wanted to know if anyone is interested in all day gaming next week.

Given that it is a bank holiday, and also given that Tess's party is the night before, it seems reasonably likely that there could be a bunch of people availible for the games that normally cannot be run in an evening.  Dave seemed to be quite interested in the idea, anybody else?

Sounds like an awesome idea to me!

I was sorta wondering what I would be doing between tess's party and the gaming in the evening, due to the drive so if I went home, I might not have been coming back, otherwise I would have had to amuse myself in Chester for the day... and gaming sounds like an excellent way to do so Smile

Especially as it sounds like a fair amount of people wont be there in the evening.

Would venue be an issue? As Tess might not have planned on having us for *that* long so we cant assume.

I'm up for this as well and have plenty of suitable games,

We have in the past used the deva through the day on bank holidays, and I'd also be happy to host gaming at my place which is pretty near to Tess's

It is a point worth checking, but I would not foresee a problem.  Since it would be all-day gaming, the departure would not be too late, and tess's mention of potential floor space means that we would not have to depart at 4:00 AM at least.  IIRC the Diva should be open from noon, so we wouldn't have to stay there that long.
Tess

well... I like sleeping. this is a much advertised fact, so the vacon butties should only be coming out to you for around 10:30 - 11ish monday morning. I'd prefer not having all day gaming at mine - unless everyone wants to tidy and clean my house of party evidence first in which case you're all welcome!!!

I was thinking that the Deva would the place to have it, a) because of thew aforementioned reason and b) to make it easier for those not at the partay.

I'm not planning to abuse your house, honest!!!  Shocked

If anyone's interested, there'll be a big game of starwars miniatures in fanboy3 in Manchester on monday. It's a pre-release style envent, so you don't needed to have any of your own stuff, and the rules are probably online somewhere.

I'm afraid to be noring, but Att and I were hoping to have some time this bank holiday weekend to finish the unpacking - we still have boxes in the study, and we've been moved in for 3 months now  Embarassed We were hoping to remedy the situation. However, we will probably mooch on over to the deva early if people will be there!

I'll be there around 6  Very Happy  .
