Cash updateHi folks
Just thought I'd let everyone know how the funds were going.
In the box we currently have around the £125 mark. The combination of the high turnout and the return to the £1 charge has bumped the funds up quite a bit. We also have the emergency £50 in the possession of the deputy treasurer. I feel I should point out that attendence numbers do seem to be dropping slightly recently, so I'm not sure if we'll continue to see such a big income.
I was thinking that it might be sensible to transfer more of the club's money to the deputy treasurer and/or other members of the comitee so we're prepared incase something goes wrong on a week that I can't make it. Does anyone have any opinions or comments on this?

Thanks for the update .
IMHO £175 is too much for the club to be holding.
I suggest:
1. Reducing subs back down to 50p (for a while anyway).
2. An extension lead might be useful (for the up-lighter).

Agreed, £175 is a bit much, 50p subs again?
If we need an extension lead we have the cash so why not

Shall we arrange to have a mini-meeting to discuss it before games get started on Monday?
If all are in favour I'll pick up the extension on Tuesday.

TBH I'm not sure that we need a meeting for every decision.
I'm happy for the President/committee to make this type of choice, but that's just my personal opinion.

If we dont have a meeting someone will complain, I will keep it to about 30 seconds with a vote on monday

If we DO have a meeting I will complain! Is hardly an interruption and all that's needed.

Woah! I thought the vote at the AGM was for a 'float' of £100, my interpretation of that was £50 with assistant treasurer and £50 in the kitty.
With this kind of money level I think its worth discussing getting an extension cord if necessary (though I've not seen anyone needing one, but I've not played at that end of the room for a bit)

No need to buy the extension cord, it can come from the vast pile of extensions I pulled out of my house.
i didnt realise we had this much, and Im not sure how it went up so quick. We are on 50p subs for the next few months anyway. How many people are we getting on average?

We're getting just over 20 a week at the moment, but we were regularly past 25 fairly recently (hence why the balance shot up recently).
