Changeling: the Lost - Wyrd L.A.Well I'm now out of a game and feel a strong desire to get back on the other side of the GM screen.
In the next few weeks (actual starting date to be announced but likely either 11th or 18th of July) I intend to run a game of Changeling. For those unfamiliar with the game here's a brief explanation:
Changeling is set in the World of Darkness an darker version of the real world in which the supernatural is very real but hidden from humanity. Changeling are former humans who were kidnapped by the True Fae and taken to their own world to serve as slaves, pets or any number of bizarre things. The players are those who have escaped back to the real world transformed into fae creatures by their experiences.
Unlike other World of Darkness games changeling has a lot of fantasy elements (it's a game about the Fae after all) but it's still a horror game. Think the old stories of the Fair folk from the middle ages, but in a modern setting.
I'm planning to have the first session devoted to character creation so that we can make characters as a group and also so I can take a week to tailor pot and setting elements to your characters.
I'm looking for 4-6 players preferably and will have an initial story planned out with the possibility of carrying on people want. I'm perfectly open to players stepping out if they want a change or it turns out it's not their thing.
So who's interested?

Me please! WoD is a system I would really like to play again after my short interaction with the Mage version. I've heard many good things about all the different versions

For anyone who cares about this sort of thing, this is New WoD rather than Old WoD. There's a great comparison between the two versions of Changeling here.

Yes this is the newer one. Didn't think to mention that but it's worth noting just in case somebody decides to google it and ends up finding stuff on old Changeling.
As Paz's article states the two different Changeling games are like Apples and Oranges. The blue text found there is also a very good summary of the game and includes stuff I left out to avoid turning my post into a wall of text.

Tess said you'd like me to join this one, so count me in! And go easy on me, it'll be my first game =P

Might be a mix up here. I have a WoD one-shot story that I may run as a little social thing outside the club sometime and since it's designed partly as introduction to WoD it's good for new Role-players which why your came came up when I mentioned it to Tess.
That said I'd be happy for you to join this game. As a heads up, the various supernatural powers might seem intimidating at first but you'll have a set of specific powers you choose to start that you can focus on. The more unusual stuff can be picked up when you feel you want to. It'll all become easier as you play anyway and the majority of rules stuff is on my end anyway.
Also Jimmy, not ignoring you. Happy to have you on board.

I'd like to play, sounds fun! Have run or played a few nWoD games but not as much of Changeling as I'd like.
Only thing is I can't make the 11th due to being in Scotland but can make the week after. Hope that's okay.

Should be fine. I have to put the finishing touches to the setting and initial story still so I may end up starting on the 18th anyway.

There space for one more? I've been out of the RPG scene for too long now so would love to get back into a game.

Sure thing if you don't mind possibly waiting another two weeks.
