Character Concepts, want opinonsI was thinking about what i would like to be not rules wise but character.
The first I had was of a half-construct with the half either stone or metal (particularly stone). I had ideas of getting weapon, sheild and bits of armor to look like stone. He would be played quite calmly, not being human nor non-human being in a kind of limbo of understanding (if that makes any sence). Very focused and hard to distract from the task at hand. Maybe even get a bit of magic to do with earthy stuff?? I quite fancied having green runes and symbols painted on me. The idea being that they keep my contruct parts working.
Then I thought of a travelling mercenary/jester/story teller. I quite like this idea because it allows me to be quite animated. Sitting round hearing and telling stories of the days/weekends/years events and turning points splashing in a little artistic licence. And i thought it could help me gain access to other camps to tell tales and so on. Combat would probably be accompained by taunts and so on.
What do people think?
I got this as well! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAP...sPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=002
Could go well with the green symbols.

You wanting to be the Children of Phedes bard r just a wandering bard? It is one thing we are short on.
We can introduce you to paddy etc either way to get you in with the Dragons Bards. You do have to earn the right to be a dragons bard. Dosent stop you telling stories though.
Learn some nice and bloody celtic stories to tell round the fire and Daz can send you are background story.

I picured it as a mercenery, allowing him to move all around the world and hear tales from other points of view and so on. So i could well be affiliated with you either at the moment or as my main clients kind of thing. Make sence?

Wandering bard is fine but bare in mind where u choose to be from because some factions will be hostile towards you. If you were from tranny lands you proberly wouldnt be able to get around that much. Being undead also isolates u from the dragons. Also the Harts arent liked at the moment by many of the factions.
To sum up if u want to be a traveling bard ensure youre not from Tarantuler, jackal, or Harts lands nd you should be fine to get everywhere else.

Could you not go for a story-telling construct? It would be a different method of story-telling, but allows artistic license still and gives you the construct option. Also, good job on getting that beautiful looking sword. Since you're at the uni, why not come along on Saturdays at 3 (main field) and do some LARPing with us? Anyone else is welcome also (this is not me advertising, just it gives people a chance to practice characters and try out new ones, do monstering, practice generally, maybe make some plots for us to do, be in plots, the works )
But, it seems a story-telling construct sounds like what you want. You could tailor the story-telling style to sort the limboic state of the construct too.

THE SWORD WAS CRAPPY WAHHHHHH!!!!!
Its the new standard in crap i'm afraid. However i got a side arm hammer that rocks!
I will try and make it down, need someone to show me the way though.
I see what you mean, I could do both but will start of as just a storyteller for now. I will work up to the construct (unless I survive long enough to get good )
