Ok so, it seems like we are having a bit of a chicken and egg situation going on here, players not comming the the club because there are not any RPG's planned and GMs not planning games due to a Lack of available players. So, If you are an available player, meaning some-one who is not in an RPG game at the moment but would like to be, please post in here, along with the type of games that you fancy playing. That way, if some-one fancies running a game, they can come in here and see how many people are available and try to recruit players.

Each person that is available will post their name, and the names of every one else who is in the thread as being available. If they are recruited for a game, then they post the list with their name taken off (or the GM can do it for them). This way, the most recent post on the thread is always an up to date list of available players who are looking for an RPG to play.

I'll start the ball rolling

HD Imagination (Matt Palmer), Will consider any game as a player, will GM superheroic game or D&D.

Sounds like a good idea, make it easy to plan games.

For Monday evenings:-

As a Player - Would be happy to play in pretty much any game, have experience in most systems and will make the effort to turn up every week cash permitting (£6 train ticket doesn't sound like much but to a student it stings).

As a GM - Can run a variety of games. Would happily run one session games if there's sudden need of a GM. Most confortable running Warhammer Fantasy, Shadowrun 3rd Edition and Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 on the fly, and World Of Darkness, FATE and Dungeons & Dragons 4e if I've time to plan in advance.

For other evenings:-

As a Player - Depending on location would happily make time to show up for any long term campaigns but I can't do Tuesdays.

As a GM - Actively looking for players for a World of Darkness campaign, and if possible a venue so if someone would be willing to host the game in their house that would be great (once we've met and got to know eachother naturally). Will host games at my own house once I'm settled in but I lack the space currently.

Riddle of Steel has 2-3 weeks left to run(Shorter if they screw up) and then you will have another 4 players or so available.  I have a short game I can run and may be able to do something modern or sci fi if something longer is required.  Would prefer to play for a change though

I'm currently in Riddle but since that's not got much longer I'll be willing to run for 4-5 players when we wrap up in  2 or 3 weeks.

Would rather GM so I won't put myself down as a player. Just thought it relevant to the current discussion. Particularly want to run Mage:the Awakening again but if nobody wants to play ( ) then I have plenty of other games I'm willing to run.

One question. Will we be rolling up characters on the day, or using pre-made characters?

warhammer (1st edition): investigatory mission with some fighting and a few puzzles. Pencils, paper and dice available to use. Sweets in short supply. Character generation from 7pm 2 characters on stand by for those who are late hoping to kick off proper for 8pm 11pm finish (let me know if you need this changing)

I have a friend who'd like to come along, would be interested in the Warhammer game is there's a space avaliable, but won't be able to make it until 8pm as he doesn't get off work til 7pm, as you said you're planning on an 8pm start hopefully that's not an issue. If there's no objections he's asked me to generate a character for him, he's just going to give me a basic idea of what he'd like to play. He's been RPing for a couple of years, mainly D&D, so he'll be able to just play from the get go without much problem. He's called Rob btw.

Ok, so, to re-iterate, this is a lot easyer, if every-one who posts, posts the list of available players in their post. This will enable it to be very clear who is available and who is not. If people don't it can become difficult to know who is in a game and who has signed up for one. I will try to come into the list every week on a tuesday morning and do some housekeeping.

OK, as I understand this, people, in thie thread you ALWAYS end your post in a list of who the currently available players are, so people are aware and can see at a glance. This should be easy, as you're copying the list of the person who posted before you, and either adding or subtracting names. If you do not do this the thread DOES NOT WORK. So, please try to use this method...

Thought I'd try to update this...

HDimagination is running Dark Sun from the 13th of September. People who have said they would play with him are: Tess, Matt S1, Paul E, Ian Jones, Imajica1863, and 1 space, most likely for Milly, if they're still interested.

People who have elsewhere indicated a lack of games: AnnoyingLizardVoice, Milly (if not in the Dark Sun game) plus people from the previous post: Matt S squared (although he hasn't been appearing recently, so I'm not going to include him on the list).

In conclusion, the following people are free for games as of now, that I am aware of:
