With this board software, is there any way to get a custom title to appear just below your name?

You should be able to to do so. You can on any forum. If you go into the admin cp and find the user, you can change it to whatever they have requested/you deem necessary.

Is this phpBB 2 or 3?  If it's v3 then there is a really easy way to do it, I've kind of specialised in Customising phpBB for RPG forums.  I've created a full IC Forums MOD that can be fairly easily integrated onto a forum using Custom Profile Fields.

It's still in development stages though at the moment and won't be live until next week at the earliest.

For phpBB 2 it is possible but a lot more work.

By the way, seeming as though this is my first post here, dumb noobilicious mistake I know but I spelt my Username wrong during registration.  Can you change it from "Aoache" to "Apache"?  I'm user row 55 in the database.

I think we're on v2; to be honest I haven't done much tinkering under the hood.

It is phpBB2 yeah, noticed by the User Panel.

If you upgrade to phpBB3 you can customise it very very easily, much easier than in phpBB2.

to be a bit anal, can the committee titles be updated? so those who are on it get the titles, and those who aren't get them removed. Although, I don't mind silly titles used instead
