D&D name and shame.

On the subject of the D&D cartoon, I actually still think it's okay. It's a kids show- it kind of HAS to teach a 'don't solve your problems with violence', 'don't hurt other people to get what you want' message. The animation and sound were pretty good for the time and the big-bads were pretty scary and interesting for the target audience.

Of course, like the rest of us, I'd just point my magic bow directly at the DM's head and shouting "Alright shortar$e, tell us how to get home, no riddles, or I swear to god I'll take your mother-fu@<ing head off right here and now!"  But, y'know, that was never the point.

D&D cartoon was one of my favourite cartoons, and i watched it before ever roleplaying.
The party being made of "bland" characters as revealed in the review was well thought out and quite funny. The concept was 5/6 'normal' kids go on a fairground ride and end up in some magical kingdom- all they really want to do is get back home.
The gamesmaster(?) was very annoying as instead of saying " i need you to go to 'x' and defeat the dragon" he would put it into riddles.

Still, I rented a whole series of this about 4 years ago and loved it the same way I did when I was just a kid. I recommend you go out and watch as many of these as you can.
