Delta Green – Call of CthulhuLast one for now, I promise!
I played a one-shot modern day scenario, where maniacs escaped from an asylum burnt down a house, killed some people, and basically fled, the only hints at unnatural goings on being the guard left with his face skinned off, and the strange symetrical pattern of blood on the wall that represented a Rorschach inkblot test.
The follow up campaign will bring together government agents involved in cleaning up the site of the slaughter, inducting them into a government conspiracy known as Delta Green. Whilst it has many elements of classic Cthulhu, it's entrenched firmly in X-Files style territory, with the characters most likely to be investigating weirds goings on and 'hauntings' and particularly disturbing individuals before having their eyes exposed to the true inhuman nature of the world and alien gods.
I'd like to start the ball rolling with the newly formed team either involved in cataloguing the belongings of a girl who has mysteriously disappeared, investigating a haunted house where an agent recently committed sucide, or an adventure that plugs straight into the X-Files world of alien abductions and experimentation.
That's my last game campaign proposal for a while (a long while, hopefully) - any takers for some time in the future?
