Eating at events

We have tried several solutions to eating at events and I think the only one that has really worked has been the bbq. However that means everyone eating at the same time and takes time/is smokey.

So in the interests of not smoking out the muster circle again how about we look at a gas bbq?

Something like the one at the bottom which runs off a proper gas cylinder and has the sides so it wont blow out.

We would have to buy and transport it and a gas cylinder. With the numbers attending now I doubt this will be more then £5-10 each for a good setup and will give us the ability to cook without waiting for the bbq to heat up. We can also use it inside a tent if we are careful. Thoughts?

cheap... looks good... just dont poison me ok. Does this mean tickets for events will be cheaper f we dont have to eat there?

Normal events dont have catering like that one. They have food vans which are not bad but not great either. And they are not cheap.

sounds like a plan
Jimmy

two main concerns about the selected item:
1. regulator and hose not included - this sounds like it will be a pain to find these parts and will prob cost half as much again
2. doesnt specify what gas it uses as far as i am aware

On a side note, now that i am back at millets i can see what sort of stuff they have which may be suitable if you like? Very Happy

Regulators cost less then £10 and hose is £1 a meter, they are not included as standard. Im not saying buy that one thats just an example. I have found better deals already.

Have a look at Millets for us they may have something. A stand would be nice as well.

Does that mean you will put money in. it also means you will be doing dishes more often then not, Cook dosent do dishes.
