Further help with research :)

Hi all this one is a bit easier and might be interesting.

Can you say , in one sentence, why you play D&D?

Thanks

Leigh

I don't?
Prostanc3

I suppose this applies to all RPG's really but I play because its more personal and social than video games and your imagination is the limit.
Gileh

Or pathfinder, if you like. Razz

It's the closest thing I have to a social life.
Ariadnae

Helps me forget who I am for a while...
HDimagination

It's Fun.
Tess

Its a fun and sociable thing to do with friends, and to make friends, whilst using your imagination and having lots of giggles!
Silverback

I don't play D&D or Pathfinder! Apart from that these books are portals to the real world and allow us to escape the everyday drudgery of our days in purgatory. Wink

How so? I don't see the desire for imaginative escapism in a social context as a negative quality. Now if someone said "because it gives me a peer group who are willing to overlook my poor hygene and disgusting personal habits," THEN I'd agree.
