Greetings All

Hello all,

I'm a Canadian expat who will be spending the next year in Wrexham pursuing an MA, and was informed about your club by a lovely fellow in the Liverpool Games Workshop.

I've DM'ed DnD 3.0 and 3.5 since the tender age of 11, but have seldom had the chance to sit on the other side of the screen. I would like to stop in on either the 26th (though that is Induction Day at University), or the 3rd of October, if there are any 3.5/Pathfinder/4.0 games that wouldn't mind an extra player.

I was able to digitize my entire collection of 3.5 hardbacks before crossing the pond, but regrettably neglected to bring my dice.

I come from the same city as Bioware HQ, which means that I enjoy games with good story and character development, and don't believe that Optimization and Roleplaying have to oppose each other.

Cheers,

--Dan

Welcome to the boards.

There's usually a game or three of some form of dnd running. Although I'm not so certain about available spaces - have to see the GMs about that.

I've recently been introduced to pathfinder myself and am hoping that we can get that picked up in the club. I know Paz was hoping to run We Be Goblins some point soon - I hope.

Welcome!

Even if you can't find an RPG campaign game to sink your teeth in to straight away there are plenty of friendly people to enjoy board games and one shots with whilst you wait Smile

i have a flintlock fantasy one shot occuring on monday and can fit in an extra player Smile Sadly, it isn't D&D though you are more than welcome.

As mentioned there may be slots available for one night in a current game although I would treat it as a 'maybe' and possibly be flexible to other plans.

Good luck!

Hi Dan,

I'm Chris who you spoke to at GW Liverpool, really glad you got in touch with Chester Games Club. Unfortunately I won't see you at the club as I'm moving off to Winchester to run my own store but you never know, I might get a chance to pop in one day.

Good luck in Wrexham and have a great time gaming. The quickest way between Wrexham and Chester is the Train, takes about 20 mins, last train from Chester at 11.34pm (from October the winter timetable starts and the last train is 10.28pm). The bus takes 45 mins, its the Arriva #1, the last one back from Chester leaves from the train station at 11.35pm and then picks up on foregate street outside BHS 5 minutes later.

Hope that helps, have fun!

Hi Dan,

I hope to start running some Pathfinder RPG stuff in the next 2-3 weeks; I intend to put some details on the forum tonight/tomorrow. 'We Be Goblins!' is an option, although I'm happy to be led by player preference.

I have plenty of dice for people to use. Cool
