I thought i would introduce myself. Im Kenny ^_^

I was wondering first of all do you have an minimum age or limit? because at the moment i am a student. thanks

I have just started playing magic the gathering but have not tried any other games apart from yu-gi-oh. I have played board games alot in the past so im use to playing them.

Hello Kenny,

There's only 2-3 MtG players around at the moment (we get usually get more over the Summer). We usually play from about 7.00-7.40. Though please tell people that you want to play, because we may not if we're chatting etc.

Occasionally on Bank Holidays we've run Booster drafts.

On the age limit thing, we are upstairs in a pub so I would imagine its 18.

You should be fine to be in the pub as long as you don't try to purchase alcohol. Legally you can enter a pub unaccompanied by an adult at the age of 14.

If you'd hold off coming for a few weeks I think the club needs to vote on a age policy. I know some people in the past have expressed reservations, so it probably needs some discussion. Sadly i'm not there tonight so we'll try and arrange a meeting in the next few weeks.

I'm going to lock this thread until a committee meeting has taken place.

Thanks for your patience but its bad news I'm afraid, the committee voted to set the age needed to join the club at 18.

This will either be overturned or ratified at the AGM (currently set for 10th January).

You'll be pleased to known that the age to join was set at 16 at the AGM last night.

So you are now welcome to attend the club    .

You should probably be aware that some GMs did express reservations.

Please don't be offended if they are not overly keen on you joining particular RPGs.
