Hello Folks!

Hello Folks,

I have already been mentioned here.
http://chestergames.myfreeforum.org/Phil_Roberts_here_about484.html

So I thought it would be nice for me to say hi. I am a huge Fantasy & Sci-Fi junky. I am willing to try any games you guys (and any girls) are playing in addition to bringing some of my own fun.

So what games are to be found at the club at the moment? Any body play Pop Up Pirate Wink

Have you been looking? Smile

There's some D&D/d20 Fantasy being played as of next week, and some Dark Heresy should be continuing from it's Easter break the week after. I'm just about to post a request to hep clear up the details, because there seem to be a lot of newcomers at the moment, and as a regular I'm not quite sure myself.

Oh, and welcome to the club/forum!

This post has up-to-date information at the moment, but to summarise, the following games are in progress or starting:

  • The Riddle of Steel - GMed by Ian (dead). Restarting on 31 March after a break. Ian will be able to confirm if there are any spaces for new players.
  • Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay - GMed by Berny (visitor Q). In progress, but on hold for a couple of weeks. No spaces for new players as far as I know.
  • Forge: Out of Chaos RPG - GMed by Dave (dedindahed). In progress. No spaces for new players as far as I know.
  • Dungeons & Dragons (Tomb of Horrors) - GMed by Josh (Jimmy). Starting 31 March. Probably space for new players, but Josh will be able to confirm.
Given recent posts and the conversation I had last night with other new people, there may be the possibility of a fifth game being started. If people have something they want to run, feel free to propose it; alternatively, I could run a short D&D game (probably from 7 April).

Cool, I think both me and Lurcher would be interested in the short D&D game if you run it as we both need a proper introduction.

hell yeh pop up pirate kicks ass.

See im not the only one!
Immortal Rites

pop up pirate does in fact rock.

I had a game once called 'Rattle me bones' it was basicly a bukaroo type thing but with a pirate skeleton draped over his ships wheel. It was awesome.

I know play that same game. Except i use my cat to pile things on and see how long it takes her to get mad a scatter it all Very Happy

Pop Up Pirate is only an acceptable game on the 19th September.  So if I'm still here in 2011, I will gladly play a game of it that evening. Wink

That does give me a wonderful image of a pirate cat.  However, I imagine a pirate cat would get through parrots awfully quickly.  Sad
lurcher

Defo on for short D&D game, starting 7th April.  Cool

Hello Andy,

Welcome to the club, only been coming about a month myself. Look forward to meeting you.

'Pop Up Pirate' is nothing compared to 'Hungry Hippos!'

The other Simon.

Hungry hippos was broken,
all you had to do was hold the lever halfway down so the mouth stayed open and you'd get much more than if you hit it rapidly.

Anyone else see the limited edition "hard gay" version of pop up pirate?
it was made in japan based on a comedy character, where apparently pop up pirate is a top seller.
Death Jester

Where do you hail from? no i have seen Mount Gay rum but thats a different story.
