I have been in Chester for two weeks now (studying at the College of Law) and would like do some gaming.
Should I just drop by the club on a Monday? Anything to bring?
Thanks in advance for any answers

Hi Olaf.
Welcome to the club. Bernard (also at Chester Law school) is a member here, too.
Just turn up between 6.30 or afterwards.
I'm part of a D&D 3.5 game at the moment (the Savage Tide Adventure Path, if that means anything to you), which is likely to stop for a long while soon unless we get more members. Would you be interested in joining?
Yes, just turning up is fine. In terms of stuff to bring, I'd suggest a pencil, dice, some paper, and some money if you want to buy a drink (bringing your own drinks is not allowed).
What games have you played in the past, and what type of game are you most interested in playing?
Druss
Thanks for the replies guys.
Yeah I have seen the post about where the club is. I should be able to make it tomorrow at 18.30. While there be any difficulty in reaching the club because of the construction work going on (I will be coming by bike)?
What have I played in the past? A lot, as I have been gaming for about 20 years now (not too seriously at 9 abviously, but fiercly I guess .
D+D (2nd and 3rd, not su much 3.5), FS, Cthulluh, oWoD, Runequest, Stormbringer, Pendragon, Paranoia, Merp, WHFRP, Traveller, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, Mechwarrior, L5R, and some German games you might not know. I own or have owned some more, but mostly played on-shots in those.
So, I am really open to anything, but would prefer to be a player, not a GM, at least in the beginning. Probably something Fantasyish for the beginning? I would love to play in a Artesia campaign, as I have bought the book a few month ago and like it a lot (I have already posted about that in another part of the forum).
I also like board games a lot and play some CCGs (I am pretty good at L5R, I like Vampire, but I am not too hot there), but have not brought over too much stuff so far.
That was rather long, so I'll stop here, anything else can be talked about tomorrow I guess (so much nicer with a drink in hand .

By bike, no. By car, yes.

Sounds like you're in luck; two of the games going on at the moment are fantasy (D&D and Riddle of Steel).
