Hey,

I found your forum through my research on Google. I am currently conducting a Radio documentary on board games in the era of the games console at the University of Chester.

I was wandering if myself and fellow student come down and record some sounds while you are playing games and possible get an interview (only if your up for it of course) about your feelings on the board game in the an era of the games console?

Any help you provide will be very much appreciated!

Come down and have a chat to people is your best bet. I would be happy with you being there but you would have to ask around and make sure no one has any problems before making any recordings.

Ill be there from about 6.30 to 7. most people dont turn up till just after 7.

Yeah, myself and James ( the other guy coming with me) will definitely respect peoples wishes and if they don't want to be recorded then that is absolutely fine.

I am just going ask a little about the club, for instance when it started up and something along the lines of why you prefer RPG and boardgames to consoles. Or you may like both. It's just going to be a informal chat really.

i.e Does it provide a social elememt that console gaming cant?
