Keep on the Shadowfell.Are people ok with character gen + shorter game of Tomb on Monday?
Basically so we can hit the ground running the week after (power cards printed out, character sheets ready & minatures selected).
I'll bring a selection of minis + blank character sheets on Monday.

Unfortunately I will not be able to make it tonight. I have to help prepare the house for a carpet fitting for tomorrow.
If you still want me to do it I am more than happy to draft a character in my own time, but I understand if you feel everyone should be there for character creation.

From my browsing of the PHB2, gnomes would make awful Clerics. While gnomes would make goof warlords, I really can't see how that would work flavour wise, which is a shame  ock:

They get a racial bonus to charisma which is quite nice and their racial power is good for clerics who prefer to use ranged powers and thus stay out of the fray. As Warlords they suffer more (despite boosting both secondary stats) as they feel the effect of small size limiting their weapon choices much more without a ranged option. It's also noteworthy that a gnome in heavy armour has a move of 4 which matters less for a ranged cleric than it does for Warlords (when I played a warlord I found myself running back and forth often to be in the best position since many of their powers grant bonuses to adjacent allies).
So in my humble opinion despite having both the warlords secondary stats Gnomes actually make better Clerics than Warlords. As an amusing aside if you don't mind the move 4 they also make better Paladins than you'd think ("I'm going to mark you and then turn invisible!")
