Probably just a case of taking the initiative and sorting out tables at the start of the evening, i.e getting all the white tables out & logically putting the pubs tables together where we can....

If we try and get the tables sorted at the start on Monday, then we can probably get a better idea of how much of a problem this is.

Go team!

I've only played in the smaller room so far, but it seemed to work well with the following set-up:

Leave the far corner as-is (or as it has been when I've arrived both weeks)
Move the table nearest the ladies toilets next to the fireplace
Put one of our grey tables in its place
Move the table nearest the bar slightly nearer to the bar (if needed to make room; I can't recall if this was necessary)

Slight miscalculation tonight meant I couldn't make it.  I have now got home, sorted out a minor flood, shouted at the plasterer, eaten and had my first shower in 4 days.

Table arrangements make more sense to sort in the club.  We can take a look at what you did tonight, see how it went and tweak it.  Can you let me know how the noise was?

I will make it there next week!

Sorry to hear of your woes  Sad  .

There didn't seem to be much of a problem with tables last night. There was a reasonable amount of space left and one white white table was left unused.

The music was pretty loud at the start of the night. I just asked the manager to turn it down, he was fine with that. So people probably just need to ask.
