Hey guys,

Just in case anyone hasn't picked up on it now, and because I missed last night's session (really bad headache) I'm letting you all know that Matt's30th Birthday Party is this Saturday at our house, you're all invited. It's a BYOB type thing, but I'll provide some party food (hot and cold), however, if you have any food you wish to bring that will be cool.

I'm hoping people will arrive from 5pm ish (if you're going to be much later than that please tell me). I'm running a murder mystery party based on the idea of an auction - all characters etc will be handed out there. As everyone going to the party is a roleplayer I don't think you needto see them in advance, as I trust your acting abilities. There will be prizes for the person / team who figures it out correctly (who done it) and for the richest person at the end. Also, there is a prize for the best portrayal of your chracter.

The more people who turn up, the better it will be. There is one problem - as we have quite a few people who are cooming from places such as London and Aberystwyh, crashing space is pretty much all taken. If you really have to crash over, don't worry, we can all squash up a bit. Just be aware that this is the case.

Two other things to mention: 1) if anyone has a blow up bed or other kind of camping bed (not bedding, just the bed) can we please borrow it for the night? and 2) It's midsummers day on the Sunday, so I will be attempting to stay up until dawn. Please feel free to join me. If you have a brazier or one of those big metal bowls to put a fire in, please bring that along and we'll have it outside. If you can bring one of these, tell me and I will procure some wood for the fire.

hi i'm hoping to come but am working saturday day. chances are i wont get out untill close to 7 and even a quick wash, makeup and the like will make it 8ish when i reach you? would that be too late?

also is it possible i could bring sarah (my wife), she isn't a witch hunter.

Ill be down sat but I wont be driving as I plan on having a beer or two.  How any do we have coming from Chester?  Is it worth it for a taxi back?

Ill bring beer and food(any requests>?) I also have a camp bed you can borrow.

It's fine if you're late - the only possible prickly is the murder mystery, and if you odn't mind getting your character(s) late it's fine. Wives, girlfriends, partners etc all welcome (but not random friends ).

Camp bed - please very much. Crashing, there may well be space, I'm currently estimating how much room we will have, but if you're willing to squash it should be ok, so long as not everyone does it, as I already have at least 11 people crashing who are coming from further away. That said, if poeple will squash, and anyway, if you're inebriated it's likely you wont notice, I *think* it will be ok.

Lifts wise, I suggest you call people you know live near you and try to organise them today and tomorrow - please don't leave it until the last minute! I am willing to come out and pick people up Saturday lunch time, if they don't mind being here that long, helping with the set up, and tell me by tomorrow, and please only if you can't get any other lifts. I can help supply phone numbers of people if you need them, if I don't have them someone I do have the number for is likely to have them instead.

Sorry to hear some of you can't come - you will be missed! Looking to see the rest of you on Saturday!

last two nights have consisted of me waking at 1am and not going back to sleep untill 10pm the following day and last night i decided to do the big asda shop, such was the lack of sleepyness.
i assume that by 6:30 tonight when i eventually get out of work i will be sleeeping like a little baby.

Thanks all who came, just wanted o say it went really well, and Matt really enjoyed himself. So thanks a lot! Especially to LEigh, who coped with being our gender-swapped player, as we ran out of girls to play the characters.
