Nation Stateswww.nationstates.netThere's a simple online game, texted based, where players govern their own countries, based on their responses to a number of (frequently amusing) topics. Over time their countries grow, and change, and are compared and contrasted with their neighbours within a self-contained region of the world. I've just set up a new region, if people want to play, called Chysteria, and started my own country in it (http://www.nationstates.net/breakerspace). I invite you to join me. It doesn't take long to start up, nor do you really have to log on much to play it. And it's tongue in cheek, so you should be able to get a little laugh out of it for your little investment. I'm afraid that the 'Chief' of Breakerspace has been on a four day visit to London, England, to see how they run their country (not very well) and to sample some of this 'western' music the kids seem to be into (which we promise to import to our country and possibly the entire region).
Nice to see 11 countries now in the region. For future prosperity, may it be noted that (as of today): The Theocracy of Turnipopia is the safest country in the region. We would all do well to follow their lead. Unless safety isn't your thing. |

Too many Dictorship / Corrupt contries abound within our fair region.
With all these WMD being bounded about (limited and Banned by UN Resoultiom 200) The members of the UN must take these rogue states to task, by breaking the UN Law. Even a UN member is breaking the Ban (Alvbino) and the matter must be brought before the security council. The Resoultions and Laws passed by the United Nations apply to all of its members for a betterment for us all. We all agreed when becoming members to abide by the UN rules. What does our esteamed UN representitive have to say on the matter? |

I'm giving up reporting who's top of the charts, on account of having a life that's not tied to the computer. Not so far, anyhow. So, well, I've missed a day already. And I figure it's not that important.
Nice to see lots of activity on the wiki this weekend. All you ever wanted to know about Bernopia but were too afraid (or drunk) to ask. Plus a whole bundle more. Which reminds me - I must update my profile. Too many important citizens, not enough details. Especially with the Chysteurovision coming up! |

This game is now available on Facebook - just search for the application 'Nations'. It's interface works a little better in Facebook format, and there has been talk of introducing additional features, like trade between countries, or war.
