Oddcon. Why not?I have been in touch with someone I met at conception last year. He runs a slightly closer even called Odd Con. I have had a look at the details and it seems very reasonable. He used the phrase 24hour bar as well......

Any interest?

Oh and I should mention that its a little more expensive.
HOWEVER!
You do get all games included. You can also pay a little more for breakfast everyday and also dinner. Or just a bed.

I'd love to come, but my wife's busy that weekend, so I've got to look after the kids.
I'd be interested in 2012 though.

Ooohsounds like a plan been looking for something like this since Nerdcon
gaming/hotel/dinner/breakfast for 2 nights £125(assuming i'm sharing) + travel that is uber convenient and would only cost me £33
for a return on a shiny train plus a 10ish minute dash from the station nice!
great find

Got back from OddCon last night and it was a really great con. A couple of hundred people so not a massive one and really friendly people. Very much like home gaming with a load of friends.
Recomend it to people for the future for sure.

what's the non-rpg gaming like at oddcon?

Its a pretty even split. Becuase there is no set slot times, there are alot of people floating round playing games. I had about 3 games of blood bowl manager and a couple of other things too
