Given that you can take your turn in about five minutes and then get on with your life until your turn comes around again, it might not actually be as dull as sitting around at a table waiting for five other people to finish their turns.

If enough other people sign up I can start a game (or someone else can) - until then you can join an existing game...

Hmmm. That depends on what you don't like about the game. My main problem with it is sitting there for a turn watching everyone else decimate your armies and then desperately trying to claw your way back. If you're playing it throughout the day, just logging on to have a quick look or take a turn, it removes those factors.

Which means you probably detest it for other reasons entirely.

Given that it's a game everyone's familiar with means it's really REALLY easy to play. I've signed up and have had my first turn of a couple already.

Anyone else here actually playing on the Conquerer Club site?

I'm currently playing four games (look for the name 'psibreaker'), but as soon as I bow out of one of them, I'll set up a Chester Games Club board, if people are interested.
