Depending on numbers we may need all of the weapons.
You also need a shield. We have 2 functional shields atm.

We need to see how many bodies we are taking I have mentioned it to everyone in the club who has expressed an intrest in larp, trying to see if we can drag a few new faces in. We are probably gonna have a couple of duvets to transport as its gonna be cold and most people dont have dcent sleeping bags.

Apart from were the latex is comming away. The only one in "good" condition other then my heavy shield is my one that has no backstrap.
They all ned the fronts replacing.

The shields were ropey when we designed them. And using white material is a bad idea when you cant take it off to clean it.
We need to put an extra layer of foam on the shields and then use duct tape to make the front nice and white, plus we can clean duct tape. Most of the other kit is fine.

cant you put clear sealer over the fabric? just like you do on the latex but fabric?

Easier just to use white duct tape. And it looks really bright.
I am making kit this sunday if anyone is interested in sorting their shields out. They all need work.

The shields have been stripped. Geoff will be ordering the foam to reinforce the front next week. My shield has been 50% redone, I will get it finished next week. The others wont take much longer. We will need some contributions towards th repairs from everyone using one for
Foam £9 per shield
Latex cost £35 for the latex. Ill need some of that back.
Duct tape Costs about £4 per roll. Needs 1 roll ish per shield
