Pathfinder Society

As some people will already know, I'm currently running a D&D 3.5E game based on adventures out of the Pathfinder publication. There is now a spin-off from Pathfinder, called the Pathfinder Society, which is similar to the RPGA Living campaigns, where you run your own character (created according to the campaign rules) through short (3-5 hour) modules at conventions; if your character makes it through, he can gain levels and treasure for future modules. However, the Pathfinder Society is also encouraging games to be run at games shops, people's homes, and games clubs.

I'm interested in either (or both) of the following:
  • running some Pathfinder Society scenarios at the Monday night club
  • running some outside of the club, such as at my house on another evening.
This is all very early days at the moment, as I'm keen to avoid conflicting with the ongoing Pathfinder game (as well as my preparation time for it) and I haven't discussed running games at my house with Heather, but I'm keen to know if there's any interest in it.

I'd also be interested in advancing my own Pathfinder Society character, so if anyone else was interested in running some one-shots... (hint, hint Wink)

After reading through the rules, I must admit my curiosuoty is piqued.

I'd probably not play it consistently at the club, since after current campaign is over I would rather play something a little different than 3.5 at the club.  Also, my GM skills are limited, and this seems to rely on one that really has their wits about them.

However, I've had a spiked chain fighter build that I've been wanting to try out for awhile and putting it onto a Nihilist Chelaxian personality.

This certainly isn't something I'd expect to happen week in, week out. In most months only two scenarios will be released anyway, which puts a hard limit on the number of sessions it could occupy. I'd expect something along the lines of one session a month, maybe.
