heres the backstory ive only got limited time online so if you wnat toi check it and send it to plot then go ahead.
Leabarn is a small fortified village with a smaller village just outside its walls. It was created about a year after the clearing. Its situated in a valley in mullingar and during the harsh winters is cut off by snow. The people of Leabarn came from all over erin and chose the valley because it offered privacy. Allthough many people didn’t join the dragon army the town often took in wounded soldiers and allowed the soldiers to show the towns people how to fight. During the winter 3 years ago the town was cut off once more. After a few weeks strange things started to happen and the village was attacked by undead. Eventually the town itself was starting to be attacked so they sent out for help. No messengers came back but a body was found floating down the river.
The body was of a man and he was still alive but only just. The man had a fever and it lasted four days in total. Once the fever broke the man seemed to recover from his wounds very fast apart from his left hand which was withered and pale. The man said he was a soldier and his name was Phedes. He trained up the towns people very fast and showed the people how to gain the power to heal by drawing powers from the plane of life. Phedes led a scout party to see where the undead were coming from. There he saw a red hooded figure walking through the undead and not being attacked. Phedes returned to the town and within a day he devised a plan. The bulk of the towns people were to fight the undead in a battle just outside the town, whilst Phedes led an attack squad (the children of Phedes) to go and fight the red hooded figure. The towns people fought long and hard and eventually defeated the undead. Once they had beaten them they ran to aid Phedes. Once they got their, they found the attack squad greatly injured and the healing powers depleted and Phedes lying on the floor with a mortal wound. The red hooded figure was also severely injured so the towns people easily finished him off. Unfortunately because of the heavy loss of the battle all the towns peoples healing powers were depleted and so he died. The next few years were spent regrowing the town, and replenishing stock. Just before the Gathering 1106, a soldier who used to stay in the town regulary returned. His name was Meranti of the green company. He gathered the best fighters and healers in the town and took them to meet sir danci bold the green company leader. There they joined in with the green company for the gathering 1106 and were trained up. During the feast it was decided that the children of Phedes would split from the green company and become an independent unit.
When Leabarn is cut off during the winter they rely on the leadership of the towns elders. The towns people worship Phedes as their savoir although they nothing about him but his name and the fact he was a soldier. Whilst out with the war band the Children of Phedes are trying to continue what Phedes was doing by fighting for the dragon and also in the hope that they find out more information about this great man.

Although many of the occupants are not regular members of the Dragon armies, the town often provided shelter and food and took in wounded soldiers.
During the winter several years ago the town was cut off once more. Strange things started to happen and the village was attacked by unliving. Help was sent for but no messengers returned, eventually a body was found floating down the river.
The body was of a man barely alive. The village had no healing and his fever lasted for four days. On the fifth day the mans fever broke, the villagers managed to heal his wounds, all apart from his left hand which was withered and pale and refused to be healed.
He trained the towns people to fight and showed them how to heal by drawing powers from the plane of life. Phedes led a scout party to find the source of the unliving, there he saw a red hooded figure walking through the unliving untouched. Phedes returned to the town and devised a battle plan. The bulk of the people were to fight the undead on the river plain outside the town, whilst Phedes would lead a warband, the survivors of which were soon to be dubbed the Children of Phedes, to fight the hooded figure.
The townspeople fought and defeated the unliving, they rushed to aid Phedes and his warband but found them exhausted and injured with their healing powers depleted. Phedes was lying on the floor with a mortal wound, the hooded figure lying before him severely injured and easy prey for the remaining townspeople. The towns healing powers were spent and many of the wounded died including Phedes.
The town is attempting to rebuild and heal its battle scars. In 1106 a soldier who used to stay in the town regularly returned. Meranti of the Green Company gathered the best fighters and healers in the town and led them to Sir Danci Bold. He agreed to train them in return for their services fighting for the Dragon. During the feast at the end of the year it was decided that the Children of Phedes had completed their training and the Children now stand on their own.
When Leabarn is cut off during the winter they rely on the leadership of the towns elders the Children themselves are always led by the most experienced person present. The towns people revere Phedes as their savoir although they little about him but his name and that he was a dam good soldier. Whilst traveling with the war band the Children of Phedes are trying to continue what Phedes started fighting for the dragon and gathering information in the hope that they find out where the great man came from."
