Well hello there!

Hello people,

My name is Tez (34) and I run a gaming group in Runcorn between 5 and 8 players usually. We play loads of stuff, - D&D, Call of Cthullu, Arkham Horror, Game of Thrones, Junta and we have plenty more games between us. It can be a pain trying to get us all together weekly so a few of us are thinking we can come over to your club and join you for some fun and games if you guys are happy with that?

A few questions though, what nights do you guys meet and what time is it from and to?

I'm happy to run any game and there are a couple of other GM's in amongst our group as well. My main aim is to have a full 6 player game of Game of Thrones because that is one sweet game.

The ages of our group range between 21 and 35, male and female if this is important to anyone.

Hi, Tez,

Sounds fine to me - we've got a similar mix of games, ages and genders (although admitedly, until a month or so ago it was almost exclusively male). As long as there's no-one called Matt or Simon, of which we have too many, you're all welcome... Smile

We normally meet up on Mondays, at around 6.30 going on til about 11 (I say that but I generally don't turn up til just gone 7 myself). There'll be a handful of us around on Easter Monday from 5(ish) onwards if any of you feel like popping by - we'll be playing boardgames - see the threads here and here. Next Monday may still be a bit chaotic - some people will be starting new RPG sessions whilst a small bunch of us will be waiting another week for our GM to return, and so will be either board/card gaming, or playing some sort of one-shot session. So if you want to introduce yourself to the club, both of those Mondays are a good opportunity (the latter will obviously have more people to introduce yourself to though).

I've not played Game of Thrones but it sounds good and there's usually at least one board game being played by those who aren't committed to one of the two or three roleplaying games being run. I'm keen to play a game of Junta - you'll see from this site that I'm experimenting with an online version - but my actual copy of the game dates from the early 90s, the cards are printed in two colours, and it just looks dated and cheap.

Anyhow, pop over at any time. Do you know how to get here? Details here!

You'll be glad to hear that there are no Matts or Simons in our group. Smile

Three of us are currently interested in coming down to the club,  I work one in four Mondays and of course that one is this monday so won't be able to come down then but the following Monday sounds great.

It looks like Simon has covered pretty much everything in terms of information; welcome to the forum and I hope to see you and the others from your group at the club soon.

Cheers Paz, I have you on msn so I'll probably give you a nudge and have a chat before monday.
