I might be boardgaming, depends on whether there is any space for me in a new game that's starting up, or if people are interested in playing in a game I run (I'm up for running Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader/Deathwatch, Unknown Armies, Call of Cthulhu, or any of the nWoD games). Either way, chances are I'd just be guaging interest rather than starting, as otherwise I'd have to bring all those books with me, so I might be up for boardgaming anyway.

Game: "Down Amongst The Dead Men" (A Cthulhu Now Scenario)
GM: Steff. Worthington
Number of players required: 5-6
Number of players signed up: 1 (officially)
Approx. running time: (number of sessions) 1-2 (but hope to make this a non-linked run of about 6-7 adventures set in Chester)
Approx. start time: 19:30 at the latest as we need to generate characters.

Note: Would like mature roleplayers who enjoy plot and adventure. Although my scenarios are Cthulhu Now I'm quite happy to change them to Cthulhu By Gaslight if the majority prefer.

When Mickey Sharpley, animal rights activist
and singer in 60’s band ‘The Sharp Beats’ is found
brutally slain in his cottage by the River Dee the players
are drawn into a dark web of deceit and danger...
dedindahed

picked up a new board game i'd like to have a go at

mecanisburgo
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/38980/mecanisburgo

Players play megacorporations using agents to control areas of the city to gain prestige/money etc.

Disclaimers
game is long, up to 3 hours, maybe longer for a first game
Game is complex, lots of icons, text and exceptions to the rules
though it's supposed to get fairly intuitive after a few turns.

Any interest??

I'd be up for that, I love me a bit of Cthulhu. What's the difference between Cthulhu Now/By Gaslight and the Call of Cthulhu RPG though? Or is it just the difference in time periods?

This.

Standard Call of Cthulhu: 1920s-30s
Cthulhu By Gaslight: 1890s
Cthulhu Now: Modern day

In that case, I'm in. Modern Day and Victorian are both great by me.

I'll also be bringing my copies of Deathwatch and Rogue Trader too, as I might run one of those in the future.
