what games are running this BANK HOLIDAY (03/05/2010)Firstly i've tried the Hangman today to confirm opening times, unfortunately it keeps being engaged, so if anybody else has better look or if anybody remembered to ask (Teflon i'm looking at you) can you please let us know now.
Game: Paranoia 1st edition (1984) 
GM: Ian Jones (thats me)
Game length: 1 week (unless people want more missions tbc at end of game)
Players 4: hd Imagination, Pangloss 666, Rob with beard? and space for one other.
Time start: aprox 7:30.
To save time pre gen characters will be provided.

Game: Star Wars RPG D6 - One Shot Adventure
GM: Owen
Players: Jac, and I had thought HDImagination - but see above! So 2-3 spots open - plug in and play, I'll bring four characters (Ithorian Diplomat, Mon Cal Medic, Minor Jedi and Ex-Stormtrooper)
Time Approx: 7.30/7.45-10.30 - If a miracle happens and we're efficient we can finish the module in that time, if not I'll be happy to finish it the week after, with an extra slot open as Jac returns to his regular game.

Damn, Games are like busses! I expressed my interest in paranoia when I thought that StarWars would be running last monday. I'll make a decision and get back to you!

Do you mean you didn't?   . Gary told me that they were going to be open from 12:00 onwards. Mind you after last time I'm not sure how much store to put by it, go at your own risk I'm afraid  .

Sadly I don't think anybody answers the phone. Well at least they're not the Deva, and they're reasonably polite and accommodating, but not very communicative or reliable.
Anyway:

Those two timer players, need to watch out for them, they'll be playing us off against each other to see who let them use the shiniest dice or something. I hadn't planned on poaching, i had spoken to HD last week on here as i assume he thought your one shot was available last week.
Anyway to sum up no offence meant- HD please can you let us know which of us you are choosing, i am happy to run paranoia again in the future, if that helps?
I am equally happy to accomodate your wit and charm.

Maybe next time young lady I may just let you enter both, but you may wish to concider playing Paranoia this week? especially as it is a silly game and if you where to know how to play it, that would be treasonous and punishable by execution. (you get five clones so you can work out how the game works on the first one).
Since I am Gming and I reward points to players who play in character and do things "that would work in a movie" I think you would enjoy it.
Anybody else want to partake?

I don't think I've got any board games with a suitable theme, I'm afraid. Perhaps if I owned Mamma Mia...
