What games are there now?

Well we will be having another week off this next monday due to various bank holiday related things. But after that (the 11th May onwards) it's back to normal.

It'd be nice to be able to get our heads round what games are/will be continuing/starting up.

Existing games running (full):

Riddle of Steel (On a brief break, a Call of Cthulu game will be running in the mean time) run by Ian/Josh
Werewolf: the Forsaken run by Roj (sp?)

Exist games with potential space:

Curse of the Crimson Throne (3rd ed D&D) run by Paz Matt. Possible space for 1. Talk to Matt at the club if you're interested.

Proposed games that could start (spaces):

4th ed D&D run by me.
1st ed Warhammer fantasy roleplay run by Ian not Andy
Anyone of a few D&D ideas (I'm assuming 3e/3.5 rules) proposed by Robin.

Did I get that right?

So who else is wanting to run a game? And does anybody have a rough idea of how many regulars there are who aren't in a game at the moment?

EDIT: Added note on Riddle/cthulu and tidied... sorta.

Josh is running Cthulu in place or Riddle for a few weeks, once that is finished Ridfdle will be back on

Is that the same group or open to all interested? Just so I can edit that info into the original post properly.

Slightly different group, but I think its full

I'd be interested in either VtR or 4th ed, probably leaning more in the direction of 4th. Shell is currently signed up for CoC so shock of shocks we'll actually be in different games for a while.
JimZ

I'd be quite interested in finding something non-boardgame related for the duration of the CoC game (ie. until Riddle starts again) which sounds like it will be a few weeks not counting next monday as the LARPers are away and therefore not Cthuluing
Mingan

I will be looking for a game come Monday. My (limited) experience is solely in D&D, but I am more than happy to try other things, as long as a D20 is involved Smile I would be very interested in anything new starting, or any established games with an opening.

I am not sure how this is usually done as I first joined a couple of mondays ago, on pull-a-game-out-of-a-hat-day, so if I'm posting in the wrong place, Im sorry, and feel free to move the post to whrever is appropriate.
metagaia

We don't have a formal section/thread where people say which games they would like to play ('Future Games' is normally used if you want to run one though) so this is probably the best place atm.

The current D&D game (Curse of the Crimson Throne) has been going on for awhile now, and AFAIK, there are not spaces free in it.

4 games should be enough given the numbers at the club, and some people's preference for boardgames.
Mingan

Yes, I was told that one was not even half-way through, that sounds like a pretty committed project ! Smile

I'm quite happy to play anything else really, although not too sure about boardgames.

If people want/need another d+d game running then I'd by willing to try a few ideas. I've got Golden Axe and Chronicles of Helstasha (my home-brew), aswell as an idea for a one-off (NOT just one session) mostly evil campaign if any of these are of any use to people.
Haxar

Are any games starting tomorrow and looking for another player?
Mingan

Yes, are there? Smile

It'll be board games tonight, I'm afraid (usual thing for a Bank holiday).

So no RPGS will be starting, though your more than welcome to come along. Attendance will be a bit lower than normal though.

The other Simon.
Haxar

Yeah, I'll be there, I'm all for board games too.

Anything starting up next week then?

o.k i'm thinking of running a 1st edition warhammer rp scenario- lasting approx 3/4 sessions. starting may11 if i can get aprox 4players involved.

characters will be villagers with basic trades ie fisherman, ranger, and open to allowing any trades that will suit the village live of medievil times.
it is designed to suit gamers who do not know the system and
the game will be run with xp given for players who act out their characters as true to form , more than just dice rolling every situation.
It is important that a brief background is designed around the character- get thinking of who you'd like to be.

power gamers need not apply.
i'll be there about 7:30 and its first come first serve.

Updated the first post and tried making it a bit more readable.

I've spoken to Henry, and he's only going to make it along to the club very infrequently, so potentially there's a space in my game at the moment, if anyone's interested.

Edited initial post to reflect this.
