As Matt won't be running his game, let me offer an alternative - I'll DM a Dark Sun game.

3-5 players, if you haven't played before that's fine - I can pregen or we can have a character creation session. If people with copies could bring PHBs to that session, it'd be appreciated. First come first served - via this thread.

I'm back on the 26th, so the session can run on the 27th if there's sufficient interest.

I'm up for it. Any restriction on what books to use?

I don't have a DDI sub, so anything from there would need to be passed specially by me.

Other than that, go for it. Obvious race and class restrictions apply, and no starting magic items.

"Obvious race and class restrictions" - I'm guessing you mean follow the races in the Dark Sun campaign book?

And what level are we starting at?

Level 1. Yep, DS race and class restrictions - no Divine classes, etc.

Only other thing: no use of backgrounds for skill swapping.

All concepts welcomed.

Who else has expressed interest? There's Haxar and I, and ideally we'd need two more people.
