Hey all,

My friend and I are from Northwich and have been looking for a consistent gaming group for a while now.
We have played MTG and DnD 3.5 for years, although recently switched to Pathfinder (for the better!).
We found your site and are definitely interested in coming along this Monday, if you are still up and running in the holiday period?
We'd like to have a go/nosey at some of the different games you run, and maybe set up some Pathfinder Society games in the future.

Anyway, look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Regards,

Sam (and Allan)

Yep, attendance is generally lower this time of year but there should be a reasonable number of people in on Monday.

Might be worth speaking to Paz (currently running Curse of the Crimson Throne), he is the main Pathfinder guy.

There's 2-3 people playing at the moment (including myself) usually between 7.00-7.40. Probably best to ask for me or dedinahed if you want a game. General club rules here

See you Monday.

Thanks for the info.

What form of MTG do you play (constructed, EDH, etc)?
Ah so you do have some Pathfinder up?  Quality  Very Happy

See you Monday,

Hi, and welcome!

I'm the GM for the Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign; we will soon be finishing the final part of the adventure path (Crown of Fangs). We're still using the 3.5 rules at the moment, but I look forward to using the Pathfinder RPG rules for future games.

I should be there on Monday from about 7:30pm - I'll be sure to say hello!

Hi Paz,

Well that bodes well for the future then  Smile
It'd be really good to meet up and talk about getting a Pathfinder campaign or scenario going, especially if you were open to the idea of being DM.
My friend and I are the ones who usually end up with the grim but rewarding task of herding our friends along a plotline, so we never get to PC together!

Look forward to seeing you Monday.

Sam

We tend to play very casual magic, people just build decks with what they have, and so far we have no big spenders/net deckers ruining the balance.

I'd love to get some EDH going though if you have/want to gbuild decks I'll get one put together.

Hi Dedinahed

My friend Alan has a couple of casual EDH decks and while we used to play standard constructed, we really couldn't go for the rising costs of keeping up with it, so we play in a similar vein.

So, we could definitely get some Magic going (excuse the pun  Wink)

Sadly the only Legendary creature I've got is a bit rubbish. So I haven't got an EDH deck at the moment. Plenty of constructed decks though.

Mostly we play just straightforward 2-3 player games. Occasionally when there's been enough people, Two-Headed Giant or Emperor.

Hello!

As someone from the Northwich area myself, let me welcome you with happiness from my heart!

The magic here is really really casual, there are probably 2-4 people at any one time at the club who will actually have a deck on them.  Of those, some will merely be waiting for their game to start (like Teflon  Very Happy )

We try and steer away from talking about magic in a serious context though since it seems to raise our priority on google and therefore we get a lot of enquiries from 'serious' magic players, for whom we cannot offer what they are looking for.

We can offer satisfaction for the casual magic user though  Smile

I definitely fall into that category.  We tend to do the drafts and prereleases when they come along, but thats about it as far as "it that shall not be named" goes Wink

I'm all about the RPG's really, since our regular group disbanded I've developed Dungeonfever.

Ooh where abouts in Northwich are you from Metalgaia?
