I just wanted to say that I thought last night's table layout in the larger room, with the 4 wooden-legged rectangular tables laid out as two squares and offset from each other, worked really well. I'd suggest we do that again in future.
By the way, I counted 35 people at the club last night. _________________ Matt / paz

Yes, but there's still a space issue - I could barely fit Alladin's Dragons on the high circular table, and that was all that was left. If I had any larger game, or even if I was trying that 5 player, I'd have been stuffed.

There is room to set up a grey table in the smaller half of the room, it has been done before by moving the wooden bar table to the side and replacing it with the grey one.

I wont be down for 2 weeks as Im away. Its a 2 (Somewhat hairy)person job to move the big barrels in the darts area onto the stage(and back again please) but once done you can easily get the spare grey table in there. I dont know how good the sound will be though.
Other then that Im not sure we can shift around that much more, The "back" room is bigger but it has the path to the toilets and the kitchen area which need to be left free for H&S if nothing else. I dont see us getting more then 2 games in there really, maybe 2 4 player games and the big game in the window area if we are careful.
Any other suggestions are welcome, we are not gonna get a bigger venue as there is nowhere else in Chester suitable. We are lucky with what we have.
