We are still interested in theory. But we will need solid info on the alternatives before we can say for certain, as there is still a posibillity that any accomodation will need to be child friendly.
Rest of 2011:
Derby Day Con - 20 Aug ('Living' campaigns only, probably not your cup of tea)
Concrete Cow 11½ - 17 Sep - Milton Keynes
Furnace - 8-9 Oct - Sheffield (only Sunday tickets left; Saturday sold out)
OddConUK - 14-16 Oct - Telford
Early 2012:
Concrete Cow 12 - 10 Mar - Milton Keynes
Con-Quest - 14 Apr - Derby (A good time was had by all this year, and well within striking distance)
UK Games Expo - 25-27 May - Birmingham (As you say, not much known about this yet)
PaizoCon UK - Jun-Jul - Birmingham (Exclusively Pathfinder, but I enjoyed it!)
Continuum - 20-23 Jul - Leicester
The ones in bold I'm very likely to attend.
As far as I know, a lot of these have sign-up sheets there on the day (Con-Quest certainly does), but I'm not that clued up on the subject. _________________ Matt / paz
Ok there has been no movement on here for a while now. I met with a couple of the organisers at OddCon and they said 2 things.
First are we on a reserves list? We need to actively ask to be on it, and keep checking up with e-mails. 2nd there are still off site caravans, if we get 5 people in one of those and get a taxi there and back every day it will cost naff all per day split between everyone. They are colder than the cabins but as long as people are prepared for that it will be fine.
I still really want to go to this and want to see if there are others out there too. If not then I have been offered a room with someone else and I will take it and go alone.
There is a time limit on this of 2 days, so who still wants to go?
