This will be the last week at the Cross Keys before we move to Forest House.

The MtG Booster draft will be taking place for 9 people. It will start at 4.30pm. I've checked with the manager he has no problem with people using the room from that time onwards.

Last time I think there was some unhappiness about the amount of space/tables that were used. So MtG players need to be aware of that. Please say if there's a problem  Smile  .

Players in the draft:

Hairy Matt

Teflon Billy

Metagaia

Steph96

Alex

Hdimagination

Shaphron

Death Jester

Wolves Matt

Obviously these players won't be in their 'normal' games, but I'm assuming they've already informed people of that.

I would imagine that they'll be less people than normal because there's a LARP event over the weekend.

I don't know if people want to add what else may be happening, if so please add a comment below  Very Happy  .

Edit: Sparhawk? (TBC), removed from list.

I believe that the Apocalypse World game is going on as normal (no MTG players).

I'll be up for boardgaming and can bring on the some Mansions of Madness if anyone is interested (needs to start by 7pm)?  Also have Chaos in the Old World, Last Night on Earth, Monsters Menace America and Betrayal in House on the Hill...

..that said, if anyone brings Twilight Struggle, Battlestar Gallatica, Android, Rune Wars, Earth Reborn, Claustrophobia, Incursion, Diemacher, Doom, Arkham Horror, Tales of the Arabian Nights, Tigris/Euphrates, Puerto Rico, Fury of Dracula or Ghost Stories...whew, then I could happily be tempted away from my little Shoggoth friends.

I'll bring at least 1 of Puerto Rico, Tales of the Arabian Nights, and Tigris & Euphrates.  I'll be there sometime between 7:30 and 8.

Oh, if you like Shoggoth things, try this online card game:

If anyone else is, I'm up for playing Chaos in the Old World or Betrayal at House on the Hill Smile

Also, if anyone wants a lift from the station, I've got room for people. It's a bank holiday, so I can be there for the 4.30 start if needed

I'll bring both my regular rpg (demon hunters) and a few little boardgames and see what ends up happening. I know I'm down two players to the draft, but I'll see if enough turn up to run the game without them or not.

I am guessing there are going to be a fair few for board games this week then? I was worried with the booster draft for MTG that everything else would be a non starter...

I will aim to be there around 6:00-6:30 for board games, don't think my missus would like me leaving her any earlier on a bank holiday!
